Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick

Where I got it: I ordered this on eBay after watching Renee from Gothamista’s rave reviews of this product. She has amazing skin and heaps of knowledge and experience with Korean skincare. I ordered this on 13/2 for USD$23.01 and it was delivered to me on 23/2.

What I got: This is the Su:m37 Miracle Rose Cleansing Stick. Su:m stands for temperature is Korean and the brand name means 37-degree celsius which is the ideal body temperature. The advanced formula has a delicate lather that will melt away daily impurities naturally. With over 90% natural ingredients, you’ll find bits of rose petals in the stick as evidence, plus fermented damask rose extract which has a lovely natural floral scent. This cleanser hydrates without leaving any residue behind with its gentle formula. Free from artificial colours, parabens, and synthetic preservatives, this is recommended for all skin types, even sensitive.

How I find it: After removing makeup with an oil cleanser, I dampen the cleansing stick and start gliding the stick around my face. Circular motion on my cheeks, left and right on my forehead and a few swipes on my neck and jawline. Then I use my fingertips to work the product to form a lather and rinse off.

Overall: Such a novelty product which is pretty much a soap in a twist up stick packaging. The rose petals are really soft and pretty much melts into the lather without being scratchy at all. Water does not fall into the inside of the stick and I would recommend storing this upside down with the lid on. If you don’t use this every day. I would recommend drying this first either with a tissue or air dry then close the lid. The product won’t go soft and soggy with water contact so you don’t really have to worry about the stick turning soft. Nice subtle rose and soap fragrance that does not linger.
