RiRe All Kill Blackhead Remover Stick

Where I got it: I ordered this from eBay for USD$6.13 on 8/2. It was delivered on 28/2.

What I got: This is the RiRe All Kill Blackhead Remover StickMelt blackheads, whiteheads and dead skin cells with this simple-to-use stick! With extracts from charcoal powder, rice, black bean and sesame, this cleansing stick targets hard-to-reach areas like the sides of the nose to thoroughly cleanse pores. Lavender, tea tree, aloe and chamomile extracts soothe skin and prevent a dry or tugging sensation. Apply on moist nose and rinse with water. Use 2-3 times a week.

How I find it: This is essentially a blackhead removing exfoliator in a stick. It has a plastic lid with a twist-up base. The product is a white wax-like base with round black particles. The white base is supposed to melt the blackheads and provide a slippery surface for the exfoliator beads to gently scrub the skin. After cleansing, I leave my skin damp and apply the stick directly to my nose and massage gently. The white base melts off slightly to form a light lather and the beads exfoliate the skin gently. I then wash the stick and massage my nose with my fingertips. Wash off the residue and my nose feels a little bit cleaner than before. But by no means blackheads appear smaller or diminished.

Overall: Not the most effective product but I didn’t really expect much from this product anyway. I just thought it would be interesting to try it out because I have been trying out some other cleansers in a stick form. There isn’t much product in the stick but you don’t need heaps in one use anyway. I have used this every 3rd day for over 3 weeks and I don’t see any dramatic results. My blackheads however, appears to be softer and easier to extract with a tool. I assume that this result can easily be achieved with gentle exfoliation anyway.
