A kohl liner is something I would never ever use on my eyes because it will most definitely melt and migrate even after 30 minutes of application. So this will definitely go to someone else that finds it useful. However, I did test out the formula on the back of my hand and it is really creamy and smooth and super pigmented!

Unfortunately, a non-waterproof mascara which is common for mascaras in a gift with purchases. I wish they could provide a waterproof version as an option in the future! This means that I will be giving this away as my eyes simply do not agree with non-waterproof mascaras – they run, melt, and migrate to my undereye area and within 2-3 hours, I look like a panda.

Lancôme Bi-Facil Non-Oily Instant Cleanser (30ml). This award-winning phenomenon gently whisks away all types of eye makeup, even waterproof. Simply shake to activate the bi-phase formula that leaves the eye area perfectly clean. The lipid phase lifts off eye makeup, while the water phase contains special emollients to refresh and condition skin without a greasy residue. Lifts off all types of eye makeup, even waterproof mascara, while conditioning the skin. Leaves eyes feeling cool and refreshed, with no oily residue. OPHTHALMOLOGIST -TESTED FOR SAFETY.

This is a bi-phase (oil and water) makeup remover. Usually, these types of makeup removers are specific for eye and lip makeup but this has not been specified on the bottle. Give it a good shake before using and pour onto cotton pads and wipe over makeup to remove. This is not a face cleanser so you will need to use a cleanser after this. This cleanser is lightly rose scented and I really like it. It effectively removes eye makeup even waterproof mascara, long-wearing eyeliners and long-wearing liquid lipsticks.

This night cream has a really interesting texture. It almost feels like a balm/putty, like a pore primer but without the silicon finish. The night cream is intensively moisturising almost to the point that I would say is a bit heavy on my combination/oily skin. It goes onto the skin smoothly, but not thick and creamy. However, the cream does sit on my skin for a while for it to be absorbed. It’s not greasy or sticky, just moisturised like you have a thick moisturiser on top and it takes time to sink in. This cream receives many praises and good reviews for older women looking for skin firming skincare.

Lancôme Rénergie Multi-Lift Cream SPF15 (15ml). Harness the power of three: lift, firm and tighten. Lancôme’s secret weapon against sagging skin, Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Moisturizer SPF 15 is formulated with Multi-Tension Technology to lift, firm, and tighten all facial zones while revitalising the appearance of skin. Skin is left feeling deeply hydrated and looking denser, smoother, and more beautiful.

This is a day cream version as it contains SPF. However, the SPF15 is never enough protection for me, I need to go at lease SPF30 over more so I would apply another layer of sunscreen or make sure my base makeup has sunscreen. This Multi-Lift cream has a bit of a thick consistency but not balm-thick.

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Yeux Youth Activating Eye Cream. Formulated in an elegant gel texture enriched with Genifique technology, Genifique Yeux helps reactivate key signs of youth and fight against visible signs of fatigue. Use daily for a rested, youthful-looking eye contour, as after a good night’s sleep.

The Génifique line is pretty much the most famous range from Lancôme (remember the little black bottle). So having a sample of their eye cream in the Génifique range is quite exciting for me. This formula is lightweight and feels really pleasant on the skin. It is not greasy which is something I don’t prefer for my eye cream or serums.

Lancôme Advanced Génifique Yeux Light-Pearl Eye Illuminator Youth Activating Concentrate (5ml). Our new advanced formula immediately makes skin around the eye contour appear firmer, more rested. Engineered with a flexible massage applicator, it helps reach the entire area around the eye with a highly-effective formula. Its fresh texture targets both above and below the eye. A unique formulation to reduce the appearance of fine lines and eye bags. See results: your eye contour looks less puffy, more luminous. Visibly re-energized, reawakened.

I was actually quite impressed to have 2 eye product in a gift with purchase let alone they are both from the Génifique line. If you are familiar with Lancôme products, you would have come across their famous little roller-ball like eye cream applicator. I have always wanted to try this, but I do know that eye creams usually have a lot of claims but is really difficult to find one that does what it promises. Either that, or it usually takes very consistent, long-term use to see visible results. This concentrate is very lightweight and the product is quickly absorbed by the skin.

The little applicator ball doesn’t really do much in my opinion with this sample size, but you are supposed to apply this with specific motions, etc. which I am quite lazy to do anyway. This little sample will last me a good month of use as I only need a little for both eyes.

Overall: I am really impressed with the gift from Lancome because it contains many of the expensive skincare products (day cream, night cream, eye cream and eye concentrate!). I also really appreciate deluxe travel size eye and lip makeup remover, great for travelling. Most other brands have their gift with purchase full of makeup like eye pencil, lipsticks and eyeshadow which I don’t really care about (but sometimes good when they are travel size). I almost want to go get the other set which is the Precious Cells set, but I will wait till next time they have gift with purchase.
