Where I got it: I ordered this online from Splashstore.net while they were having a 25% off one day sale. They are usually $12.50. I ordered this on 26/1 and they arrived on 31/1.
What I got: This is a tube of Covergirl’s Clump Crusher Waterproof mascara in Black 830. I was unable to find much information on this mascara on the Covergirl’s website, but I managed to find some descriptions from Amazon:
- 200% more volume, zero clumps (vs bare lashes)
- Innovative curved brush features a lash loading section to saturate lashes with loads of product and fine-tooth comb bristles to evenly distribute mascara
- Beautifully separated lashes. Water Resistant.

How I find it: This Clump Crusher mascara has a rubberized wand/brush. I love this type of wand because they are flexible and they seem to hold just the right amount of product. The rubberised bristles also give a cleaner application in my opinion and my short and soft lashes pick up the product easier.

Overall: I always have trouble with non-waterproof mascaras as they always, and I stress ALWAYS smudge, melt, flake and migrate to my undereye area no matter how much I set my undereye concealer, or even not wear any undereye concealer. By halfway through the day, I’d have really bad panda eyes and I need to either clean it up with a q-tip, which would pretty much ruin my undereye concealer or remove the mascara entirely. So I lean more to waterproof mascaras or the tubing mascaras where they are only removed by water as they don’t tend to melt/smudge.
