Where I got it: I got this from Farmers while they were having 25% off all Maybelline products. This is RRP $26.99, with 25% off, it comes to $20.24. This is the luscious version which has the black tube and pink accent colours. This is different to the Lash Sensational Full Fan Effect which has a pink tube with black accent colours.
What I got: This is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara Waterproof (Very Black). Introducing Lash Sensational Luscious for a dense, supple fan effect. How I find it: First of all, I picked this specifically for its rubbery bristles and its waterproof formula so there is one less thing to worry about (I absolutely cannot wear anything less than waterproof). It only comes in very black as well. I prefer rubbery bristles because they tend to get the product on my lashes easier as I have soft and short lashes. When I pulled out the wand from the tube, the wand was bent and I thought it was designed this way. I checked the packaging card but it doesn’t say so, I then went and check online and realised that my wand was a little mangled. Anyway, I know that some people bend their wands anyway and I didn’t mind (it was easy to bend it back as well).
Usually, if I wear any eyeshadow or eyeliner, I apply mascara as the last step but I would curl my lashes before my eyeliner because my curler seems to always smudge my liner (why does it do that??).

Overall: A little unexpected, but I quite like this mascara. I bought this at the same time I got the Max Factor False Lash Epic mascara and I thought I would like that one a lot more. The wand of this mascara is not too big and being a little bent was surprisingly easier to apply without making a mess. The formula is a little thick and has small little chunks, but that did not transfer bad on the lashes. As you can see, 2 coats of mascara made a huge difference to my lashes and the curl of the lashes too. In regards to wear-time, after about 4-5 hours of wear, there was a little flaking under my eye area but that was really minimal and that was pretty much all it has flaked off. At the end of the day, I removed it with a good cleansing oil or an eye makeup remover and it was a breeze to take off. I will definitely reach for this one again.
