Where I got it: I’m not sure where you can purchase these in stores in Auckland, but buying these on eBay is so convenient and so affordable too! I ordered this on eBay for USD$12.10 and it was free worldwide shipping.
What I got: This is the Peripera Ink Velvet in Pure Peach. It also comes in 14 other shades, mostly reds, pinks and peach shades. This is supposed to provide an intense colour with a velvety finish. Peripera has had previous formulations and this is a velvet version. See the end of this post for a table of the different formulations.

How I find it: This is essentially a liquid lipstick with a velvety texture. It can create either an ombre effect for that just bitten lip look or as an all over creamy lip colour with a semi-glossy finish. With its velvety texture and ability to sheer and blend out, it can easily be used as a blush as well. The cute packaging makes it looks like it’s got a dropper, but it’s actually a twist-open top with a doe-foot applicator. The formula comes out looking quite pigmented and thick, but when I try to blend it out with my fingers, the creamy colour blends out evenly with a semi-matte finish. To wear this as a creamy lip colour, just apply directly from the applicator without blending it out and leave it for a minute of so to let it set.

Overall: The texture of this lip colour is quite unique, and I was surprised as to how easy it blends out. It is rather thick but feels velvety and gel-like at the same time (sooo strange, very hard to describe). The peachy shade is really pretty as a lip colour and as a blush. I love how easy and effortless application can be. I don’t need any lip liners and worry about bleeding. I don’t need to apply a lip balm underneath because the formula is moisturising and does not accentuate lines or dry patches. However, if I wear this without blending it out for intense pigmentation, it does leave an almost velvety-gel feeling on the lips and is quite noticeable. It’s not sticky but it feels like a layer of gel or cream on my lips. When blended out, the formula is quite budge-proof, almost like a stain. I really really like this product and I will purchase more shades.
