Lancôme Cushion Blush Subtil

Where I got it: I was lucky enough to have a ticket to the L’Oréal Friends and Family sale a while ago and picked this up for $20.00.

What I got: This is the Lancôme Cushion Blush Subtil in 024 Sparkling Framboise. Cushion Blush Subtil gives your cheeks a vibrant, color-infused glow with effortless application. With highly concentrated colour pigments, it only takes a small amount to instantly tint, refresh, and brighten your cheeks. The innovative cushion sponge allows for buildable, customised intensity— tap the sponge lightly for a sheer cheek tint, or tap firmly to release more fluid and achieve a bolder look. With shades in rose, corals, and pinks, Cushion Blush Subtil has a match for all skin tones.

How I find it: This particular shade and packaging is limited edition to the summer collection when the Rose highlighter launched. The compact is slightly smaller than your usual cushion foundation compact, but it comes in the usual cushion packaging with a cute pink and silver design on the compact. I like to apply this with a sponge or the cushion pad provided in a patting motion to blend it out. When on contact with the skin, it feels cool and fresh on the skin. The pigmentation intensity is buildable but I like a subtle look for this shade because it is quite a bright pink shade.

Overall: Absolutely love the colour and cute design of the compact, rest of the packaging was quite ordinary. The formula of the blush is very pigmented and bright and it feels almost cooling on the skin on application. This blush stains the skin and it wears exceptionally well on top of foundation. You just need to use a light hand to pick up the product and blend this out quickly with the puff that it comes with or with a damp beauty sponge. In case you overdo the blush, lightly tap the area with whatever is left over from your foundation brush/sponge to tone the blush down. This would also be great as a lip stain in my opinion.
