Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid Illuminating Highlighter

Where I got it: I got this for free from a Life Pharmacy’s 3 for 2 offer where I pay for 2 products and get the 3rd free. I bought 2 of the Maybelline Brow Tattoo Gel Tint and got this for free. This is RRP$19.99. You should be able to find this from Farmers and leading pharmacies.

What I got: This is Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid Illuminating Highlighter in 100 Light/Iridescent. Discover the illuminating strobe effect. Now, in a micro-pearl liquid formula for all-over highlighting! Strobe to add glow and to create the look of skin that appears radiant as if lit from within.

How I find it: This highlighter is really pigmented and very reflective. I use this on top of my foundation on my cheekbones, down my nose and on my cupids bow. I like to put the product on the back of my hand and lightly tap the product on my face using my index finger for a more intense look, or a beauty blender for a more subtle, natural look. Either way, the strobing liquid looks great. It is a pink undertone silver highlighter. If you apply too much, you will almost get a white/silver cast on the skin. Since this is a liquid consistency, it is quite versatile. You can use this under your foundation, mix it in with your moisturisers or foundation for a glowing complexion, you can use it on the body or dot it on the centre of the lips to create a pouty look.

Overall: This is a nice versatile highlighter with variable intensity. Use sparingly for a subtle glow, focus on areas and layer on for a more intense, blinding effect. This would also work as an inner corner highlight and a body highlighter as well. This little tube will last me a long time.
