Where I got it: I got this from my local Life Pharmacy Clarins counter for $44.00. They were having a gift with purchase offer as well as a draw for a gift basket if you buy 3 or more products (which I did). I have grown fond of Clarins’ products, whether it is skincare or makeup or body products. They are so good for my skin and I really like the look of their packaging.
What I got: This is the Clarins Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil in 03 Red Berry. 100% pure plant oils.A breakthrough formula resulting from the expertise of Clarins oils comforts and nourishes lips with high shine. Each shade has it’s own unique ingredient. Shade 03 Red berry has Bixaorellana. Can be used before lipstick as a lip treatment so lipstick glides on smoothly, can be used on its own as a lip treatment and as a lip-topper to provide high shine gloss.

How I find it: I already have a few of these comfort oil in mini versions (honey coloured) from a few other gift with purchases I made during the year. I decided to get one with a bit of colour so it gives a nice sheer wash of colour. I chose this berry red shade because it just works so well with my natural lip colour. I love the texture so much and how it moisturise and protect my lips. It’s not sticky and gives a nice natural glossy finish. I can apply this in the morning on its own, during the day over a lipstick, or at night before bed time as a treatment oil. You can apply it thicker layer to create high shine, or just dot on the centre and blend out to give a more natural sheen.

Overall: I love this. stuff!! It smells amazing and feels amazing! The mini ones are perfect for my little cross body purse, but this full sized one would fit perfectly in my bigger tote or in my office drawer. I love the large applicator which feel super comfortable to apply. I have been using this during winter and it works so well to protect my lips preventing it to dry out during the night. If you would like to try it, I would recommend to try it in one of those value packs or in the gift with purchase if you also use other Clarins products. I would also recommend to get this berry shade and the honey shade because the honey shade is basically clear so you can use this when you don’t want any additional colour, but the berry shade has a beautiful red tint to give you a hint of colour and life without being too bright. I would love to try the mint blue shade which is supposed to have a mint scent and makes teeth appear whiter. I have also seen some shimmery shades on the Clarins Official instagram, but I think those must have been limited editions because I have not seen them in my local Clarins counters?
