Where I got it: I have seen this foundation from a Canadian YouTuber a few months ago and was quite interested in this foundation. I went to The Warehouse and saw it along with the concealer, luminizing lotion and a highlighter. I grabbed the foundation for $24.00.
What I got: This is the Covergirl Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation in 720 Creamy Beige. Hydrate your skin while keeping it looking flawless with COVERGIRL Vitalist Healthy Elixir Foundation. Finally a hydrating, vitamin-infused formula for beautiful, buildable coverage that glides on smoothly for a flawless look. This liquid foundation is infused with Vitamins E, B3, B5, SPF 20 plus a special antioxidant and vitamin complex. Give your skin a healthy and luminous glow.
How I find it: There aren’t really many instructions on the bottle so I decided to try using a paddle brush to apply this for the first try. I use a full pump on the back of my hand and then dot it all over my face using my fingertips. It is a full coverage foundation so I like to use a thin, even layer then build up around my problem areas only. The foundation is quite easy to blend without drying down too fast. It does have a semi-matte finish and a medium coverage that you can build up. In my opinion, I would rather not build it up because it does look a little cakey. I prefer to leave it looking natural with a sheer to medium coverage.
Overall: I love the packaging, it’s the rectangular clear lid that makes a little different. It’s not exactly expensive looking but it feels a bit sleeker. As with the foundation, I’m not entirely sure how I can see the benefits of Vitamin C and E in a foundation unless I wear it every day. I like the natural finish and coverage on the skin and I am quite surprised that it did not oxidize even with the added Vit C in the formula. This foundation does not claim to be long-wearing, but it does stay on the skin nicely and fade out gently without getting patchy or getting into lines or pores.
