NYX Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powder

What I got: This is the Duo Chromatic Illuminating Powder by NYX in Lavender Steel. Available in five glowing shades, this silky powder blends like a dream for a fresh-faced look. This breathtaking formula’s light-catching pearls deliver a luminous finish that looks different from every angle. Brush this illuminating wonder along the highest points of the face-such as the cheekbones, bridge of the nose and cupid’s bow.

How I find it: This highlighter pan is a little smaller than I thought it is for some reason. Nonetheless, the lavender toned highlighter is beautiful. I like to apply with with either a fluffy highlighter brush or a fan brush. As I would with all powder highlighters, I like to apply it after setting powder to the high points of my cheeks, down the nose and on my cupid’s bow.

Overall: I wouldn’t really say this is a duo chrome highlighter but the lavender tone of this highlighter is beautiful on the skin. When the light hits the high points, the lavender tone shows through without looking unnatural. The product stays on very well especially if you have powdered the skin beforehand. It doesn’t disturb the foundation or setting powder underneath. Loving this highlighter and will continue using this.
