Where I got it: I got this from Countdown for $4.00 I think it was while they were having a promotion. The packaging got me interested and the “oil pearls” for me putting it in my basket. I was just finishing up with my La Roche Posay shower gel and was looking after something that is more nourishing and moisturising, like a shower oil or cream. $4 is just very easy to part with but knowing that I could get a big bottle of Dove for just under $10, I knew that this is probably not the most affordable shower wash out there. Comes in 3 different scents.
What I got: This is the Nivea Creme & Oil Pearls Shower Cream in Ylang Ylang. Let the velvety soft lather of this oil-pearl infused shower cream nourish your skin with every shower. Enriched with Argan Oil, known for its moisturising properties, this indulgent shower cream lathers to leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised, whilst a feminine and relaxing Ylang-Ylang fragrance indulges your senses.
How I find it: The shower cream was rather thick as expected and it had little golden pearl in it that bursts when you rub it. I guess that’s the oil pearls. The shower cream lathers really easily and feels really soft and luxurious on the skin. It smells really nice and soothing. After washing off, my skin still smells great and my skin feels silky soft but not oily.
Overall: It’s a nice shower cream for its price. It is heavily fragranced, so check out the scent before you buy just in case you don’t like it. It is definitely a moisturising body wash, so if you prefer a squeaky clean, you might not like this. It leaves you skin soft and not feeling g tight. Sometimes I don’t even need to put body moisturiser on. I will definitely try the other 2 scents as I think they smell quite nice too! Oh, the only thing is that I think it runs out quite fast.
