Sorry guys, it’s been a while since I have done any updates with my Reformaskin treatments, but rest assure that I am still extremely happy with the overall experience and results, I have just been super busy with life and other content lately. I do have updates on Instagram, so be sure to follow me on Instagram (@kittiemui) to see quick updates!
So, my last entry was week 28 which has been a good 16 weeks. I have had 4 Glycolic facials which are part of my free Elleca treatments, 1 microdermabrasion treatment and I just have a Collagen Induction (micro-needling) treatment this week. This is in a span for 15 weeks which is about one treatment every 2-3 weeks. It feels great to treat yourself once in a while and I’m sure I will miss these little pampering sessions when my plan ends.
So yesterday I had my second to last Collagen Induction Treatment with the nurse. She complimented how nice my skin is right now because she did my first Collagen Induction treatment. I have also had numerous compliments on my skin after going on this Reformaskin journey and I have also recommended people to try it out. I think it is a very good investment if you have acne scarring because texture issues on the skin are the hardest to fix or smooth out with at-home skin care products. Even with Microdermabrasion, you are only going to smooth out the very surface of the skin, nothing can compare to the effects of Micro-needling for the effects on acne scarring.
It is sad to realise that my plan with Caci will be ending soon in mid-January next year, but I still have 5 free Elleca treatments that I need to use up before my plan finishes. I also have a microdermabrasion and a collage induction treatment that I can still use even when my plan finishes (1 year). The girls are so nice to book me way ahead of schedule so I can use all my free treatments. From now until January, I literally have a facial every 2 weeks or less! My skin will be amazing for Christmas and after the holidays! Whoop whoop!
Oh, before I left Caci last week, I also picked up the Skin Smiths Derma Roller in 1.5mm. The nurse recommends that I can use this at home for in between clinic treatments to improve skin texture and for better skin care product absorption. I have been wanting to buy one for a while, but I was a little worried about the quality and hygiene if I just get them online from random websites.
After my Collagen Treatment, I should leave it for at least a week to start my at-home derma rolling and do that maybe once every 2 weeks. I can reduce to minimum 1 week if my skin can tolerate this well. I will have a separate post for this derma roller in due course. I really need to try it out for a good couple of months first.
Alright then, I will see you guys in a few weeks for my Reformaskin updates. Meanwhile, please enjoy my other contents of makeup and skincare reviews! Follow me on Instagram for more photos, selfies, makeup of the day, etc! Love you guys.
