Mecca has just launched a sh*t-load of holiday gift sets and they are really good value! There are skincare sets, makeup sets, body care sets, hair care sets and fragrance sets. If you are in need of stocking up, trying new products or really getting Christmas gifts, now is the time!

What I got
I picked up a Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Chamomile and Lavender for $11. This is not really a Christmas gift or limited edition, but I have always wanted to try this one as I have tried the other 2 from Mario Badescu and I really like them.
Next one is a Bare Minerals Star Signs lip duo for $19. This lip duo has two full sized lip product – a Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lipcolour in XYZ, and a Gen Nude Buttercream Lipgloss in Sugar.
Last one is a Soap and Glory So Much The Butter set for $19. You get 3 of their best selling body moisturiser products – The Righteous Butter Body Moisturiser, Sugar Crush Body Buttercream, and the Smoothie Star Body Buttercream.
How I find it
Soap & Glory So Much The Butter set. Comes with 3 body moisturisers, all 50ml. The Righteous Butter Body Moisturiser is an award winning body moisturising butter with softening shea butter and aloe vera. With a new dynamic moisture trap matrix to help hold hydration in longer! Smells like bergamot, strawberries and mandarin, with floral and fruity mid notes and musk, amber and warm vanilla notes on the bottom.
The Sugar Crush Body Buttercream is a wake up and smell the citrus! Soap & Glory’s ultra-rich body butter cream is loaded with shea and cocoa butter, almond and coconut oil and a super-refreshing double-citrus whammy of uplifting lime oil and smoothing lime tree blossom extract.
The Smoothie Star Body Buttercream is a lightly whipped butter that is ultra-rich and lightly scented with almond and sweet vanilla. Formulated with coconut oil, shea butter and cocoa butter, skin will be left feeling nourished, hydrated and conditioned. Loving all of my first ever products from bare minerals and Soap & Glory. The Gen Nude liquid lip and lip glosses are a favourite now for work days. The liquid lipstick is so good when you just need your lip product to stay put during the day without needing to check and reapply, etc. The darker nude shade works perfect for my natural lip colour as well! The Gen Nude lip gloss is quite so-so, the colour is really nude and sheer, so it doesn’t show up very well on my lips. However, the lip duo set is amazing value!
Soap & Glory products are unexpectedly affordable. Being sold in Mecca, I would have thought their products were much more expensive. However $19 for a sample set of 3 body butter is pretty good if you don’t know which big bottle of body cream to get! The full sized versions are around $23 and their scrubs are $20! I will definitely try their body scrubs next.
Mario Badescu facial spray is not a Christmas special, but I just though I wanted to try this one as well seeing that I have tried the other 2. This one has a lavender scent and has a light lavender tint to it (does not show up on the skin). Same hydrating spray formula, but the aromatherapy of lavender calms and soothes the sense.
