Where I got it
After visiting the L’Occitane x Castelbajac holiday collection showcase this month (see my post here). I was so attracted to the packaging and the limited edition scent. I have been a long time fan of L’Occitane’s Almond body products and I have a bottle of their shower oil in my shower at all times. This particular gift set is a pretty good idea because you get to choose the products to go inside for a perfect gift for yourself or that special someone! For a limited time, for $99 you will get 4 products inside a beautiful box. You choose a shower product, a body lotion/cream, a bar of soap and a hand cream. What I got
I picked up the Limited Edition Delightful Tea Shower Foam, the Delightful Tea Ultra Light Body Cream, a lavender scented bar of Bonne Mère Soap and a Delightful Tea hand cream. I also chose the yellow box so that it matches the limited edition Delightful Tea products. They are packaged neatly in the box with a sticker and perfume sprayed on top. It also comes with a ribbon around the corners of the box so it is ready for gifting.

How I find it
L’Occitane Shower Foam in Delightful Tea (200ml). Delightfully creamy and unctuous, this shower foam with its unique airy texture wraps the body in softness to gently cleanse the skin. Enriched in shea, it leaves skin feeling supple and lightly perfumed.
After seeing this at the showcase, I was determined to get it. It can be sold separately for $39, but it does seem like a novelty product. The foam is more like a thick mousse, it is very luxurious and smells amazing. Only like a golf ball size would cover your entire body. I have used this twice already in the last week and I love it. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smelling great.

L’Occitane Ultra Light Cream in Delightful Tea (125ml). The Ultra Light Body Cream is a luxurious body care formula for dry skin with a unique and airy texture. It leaves behind a delightful scent reminiscent of the Delightful Tea. Its lightweight formula softens and hydrates the skin. Developed with 5% of Shea butter, it leaves the skin feeling supple and comfortable, as well as hydrated for 24 hours.
This is another one that I wanted to get right after the showcase and I’m so glad that it was one of the options to choose in the gift set! This Ultra Light Body cream in Delightful Tea is limited edition and only comes in either this gift set or another one with the small hand cream and lip balm.
This whipped cream textured body cream has a very interesting texture. You need to scoop the product out with a spatula otherwise you will need to dig your fingers in. It smooths onto your skin easily and moisturises my skin for a long time.

L’Occitane Bonne Mère Soap. For hands and body. Made with a pure plant base, in the Marseille tradition of soap-making, and blended with mineral pigments so that bars are delicately tinted. The chunky feel of these all-natural fragrance bars is irresistible, choose from lavender, linden, milk, honeysuckle, rose and verbena fragrances harvested in Provence.
I’m not a big soap user because I always think they are drying on the skin. The size of this soap is pretty thick and not very ergonomic to be really picky. I can smell the lavender scent immediately after opening the plastic packaging and it fade out fast after washing off.
It lathers up easily but can get a little slippery under my feet, but generally it does feel like a normal vegetable oil-based soap which can give that squeaky-clean feeling on the skin after washing off. It is not very drying but it is definitely not moisturising like their shower oil.

I have been using L’Occitane hand creams for a long time but in their almond range because I just love that scent too much! This one is my new summer favourite with the jasmine scent. The yellow tube makes me feel bright and happy whenever I see it. It also moisturises my hands and is not greasy at the same time. It has the same whipped cream texture that looks quite chunky when you squeeze it out of the tube, but it blends out smoothly.
This size is perfect for the handbag, but it won’t last me long. That’s why I have a large tube of the almond in my office drawer and I would use the ultra light body cream when I’m at home.

Overall
The value of this box is great when you want to try most of the new limited edition products as I did. Value of $130 for just $99 is a pretty good deal and it comes with a beautiful box that you can reuse easily. There are also so many gift sets at L’Occitane store ranging as affordable as $15 and they are immaculately packed and prepped so you present them as gifts immediately!
