Where I got it
My local Kmart just had a revamp of their entire layout and it made me do a good walk around the beauty area to see if they have anything new. Honestly, I’m not liking the new layout where they have the cashier smack in the middle of the store and the women’s clothing is scattered all over the place. I now have no idea where everything is. Anyway, the blush and highlighters are both $8 each and the bronzer set is $12. I saw the bronzer by itself 3 days ago and when I went back today, they were all gone so I had to get the set.
The collection also has liquid foundations, cushion foundation, pressed powders, eyeshadow quads, concealers, loose powders, lipsticks, etc. You can do your entire face with their collection.
What I got:
These are the Fifth Avenue Baked marble blush, baked marble highlighter and baked marble bronzer set with a kabuki brush. The marbled collection delivers sheer, silky colour that glides on easily. Their main ingredients are talc, mica, silica and methicone. The blush comes in 2 shades: Rosey Glow and Apricot Glow. Highlighter comes in 2 shades: Rose Glow and Warm Glow. Bronzer only comes in 1 shade: Golden Glow.
How I find it
Baked Marble Blush in Apricot Glow (10g). This Fifth Avenue Baked Blush delivers sheer, silky colour that will glide on easily to create a natural peachy glow.
I chose this shade because it was more pinky toned and the other shade is deeper red tones. The marbled shade also has these white and golden tones and it looks beautiful on the skin with that pink and gold shimmer.
Baked Marble Highlighter in Rose Glow (10g). This Fifth Avenue Baked Highlighter delivers sheer, silky colour that will glide on easily for that perfect glow.
This baked highlighter is generally a light champagne shade with hints of light pink. Shimmery and not chunky which is good, but it’s not super finely milled.
Baked Marble Bronzer in Golden Glow (10g). This Fifth Avenue Baked Bronzer delivers sheer, silky colour that glides on easily to create a natural summer glow.
People usually don’t go with shimmery bronzers and this one is actually quite shimmery! It looks beautiful on the packaging and on the swatch though, but it’s not something I would wear every day or when I’m having a bit of skin issues with textures and breakouts.
Overall
I was not expecting these products to turn out quite nice. They swatch nicely on the arm and they do glide on smoothly on the face. They are rather shimmery and they are not really fine shimmers, so I would avoid using too much if your skin has a lot of texture and I only used a little amount of the highlighter over the cheekbones and a little bit of blush on my cheeks. For the bronzer, if you do not like shimmery bronzer, then stay away because this is quite shimmery.
