Where I got it
This palette is part of a Boxing Day sale haul from Mecca. I have never bought anything from By Terry before but I have tried samples of their skincare and CC cream because their products are quite pricey and I’m just not too sure about them. Therefore I was very excited that this palette was on sale and it was 50% off! This palette came down to $43.00. Unfortunately, this limited edition palette is no longer available on the Mecca website, but you can still find this on websites like Beautylish, etc.

How I find it
This limited edition palette has a coral and pink colour story with the more lighter, subtle shades on the left and brighter colours on the right. There appear to be 3 different formulas – matte, satin and one with a micro-glitter. Let’s talk about the shades first…
From the left, top to bottom. The first shade is definitely a highlighter shade that has a satin finish. The middle shade is a mauve-y pink also in a satin finish. Last shade is a pale matte pink. On the right, top to bottom. The first shade is a matte medium pink, followed by a coral shade with silver micro-glitter. The last shade is a matte bright pink.
The shades are so beautiful – great for light to medium skin tones. If you are in between tone during summer, you could make use for all of these shades. The deeper, brighter shades on the right look quite intimidating, and they are quite pigmented, so make sure you use a light hand and tap off any excess. I also use these shades as eyeshadows and their longevity is pretty top-notch.
Overall
This palette itself looks absolutely gorgeous, and the shades suit me very well – on the eyes and on the cheeks. I love all the shades on the left and the middle shade on the right as they are so wearable. The top and bottom shades on the right will need a really light hand and possibly not very suitable or beginners in makeup.
The pans, however, is a little hard to dip in with a blush brush without touching other shades (I can’t imagine the bronzing palette with the bronzer brush!) The pans also zig-zag, thus making it harder to just pick one shade. I have seen people use this palette by mixing all the shades on the left or mixing the shades on the right to create a custom shade.
