L’Oreal Unbelieva Brow

Where I got it

I ordered this from eBay.com for USD$10.95 I have not seen this anywhere online or in stores or even heard of anyone talk about it on YouTube. I was just browsing around and I saw this and ordered it.

What I got

This is the L’Oreal Unbelieva Brow in 575 Brunette. A long-wear brow gel that lasts up to 24hrs. Can be easily removed with makeup remover or wipes. How I find it

It comes with a dual-ended angled brush and spoolie, but the tube itself has a doe-foot applicator for getting the product out of the tube. I use 2 applicator’s worth of products each time and I put it on the back of my hand (if you have a glass or stainless steel mixing palette, even better because this stuff is tough to remove). I then use either the angled brush it comes with or my own angled brow brush to dip into the product, then lightly wipe off any excess on the brush and start to fill in my brows.

This is a long-wearing brow gel similar to Wunderbrow by Wunder2 if you have heard of that, but not like a brow tattoo that stains the skin under your brows. It removes with makeup remover but stays put until you remove it.

The shade I have chosen was ….. and it suits me quite nicely. You have to be careful about where you put this product because it dries down quickly, but you can always correct it with a cotton-tip dipped in makeup remover. It does leave your brows a little hard, but if you use less product and have a quick hand, fill in the brow area and then use the spoolie to brush it out so that the brow hairs won’t stick together and bunch up, the brow hairs won’t be hard an stiff, but sort of like you put a bit of hairspray on.

Overall

I think this shade is quite suitable for my skin tone and my natural brow hair colour. I like to match my hair colour, and maybe a little lighter. I can’t rock the dark, dark brows some Instagram makeup gurus do, because it makes me look angry and stern. I like a more natural brown look but with my natural brow shape – a little bit of an arch.

Stays on all day without smudging, cracking, flaking, etc. If I have time in the morning, I would use this for the day and I don’t have to worry about my brows rubbing off. It does take a bit more time and care to apply to your desired shape, but once you get the hang of it, it’s not all that difficult.
