Where I got it
I went into Lush in Sylvia Park the other weekend to look for a body scrub called Mamma Mia, but they were sold out. However, the lady at Lush did recommend me another one which was super minty and refreshing, AND it was purple! This is a 300g tub and it was $18.50.
What I got
This is the Lush Magic Crystals Shower Scrub. From the cap, it says: A cosmic order of fine sea salt, Epsom salts and a fresh herbal infusion help you focus on what really matters. From the website: Warming and stimulating aniseed oil accompanies fine sea salt and Epsom salts to brighten, buff and polish skin while fresh rosemary and sage infusions cleanse and tone. Rinse off and let menthol crystals, peppermint and spearmint oils to leave cool tingles up and down your skin like the remnants of magic recently cast.

How I find it
From the get-go, this scrub looks and smells amazing which is why I did not hesitate to grab a bottle. It comes in the classic black Lush tub with a screw top lid. The texture is rather runny with large and small salt grains for exfoliation. The purple colour is certainly one of the reasons I buy it because what my product looks like is usually quite important to me (packaging, etc.). I simply hop into the shower, get myself nice and wet and then get a decent scoop of this scrub and rub it all over my shoulders, chest, arms, and back. Then I take another scoop and rub it on the lower part of my body and legs and feet.
I usually take a number of scoops instead of one giant scoop because I find that to be a little cumbersome and products will drop everywhere. After scrubbing, most of the smaller salt particles have melted and I just rinse off any remaining and good gosh this scrub makes my skin feel really cool and refreshing! There is no greasy or oily residue on the skin or on the tiled shower floor, it just rinses clean and leaves you feeling almost cold! This would be great for summer and maybe after the gym!

Overall
Absolutely love this shower scrub, it ticks all the boxes – looks great, smells great, feels great on the skin, leaves your skin smooth, soft and refreshed. The only thing is I’m not sure how long this tub will last me! I have only used it a couple of times and I’m making a dent, I think I need to hold back or maybe use less products each time.
Every time I buy something from Lush, I fall in love with their products once again! I will be checking on their website for more new products now and I will most likely get more of this once it runs out!
