Serendipity Ave Bella Floral Jumpsuit

Where I got it

I ordered this online from the Serendipity Ave website. This was on sale from $119, discounted to $83. I had a 10% discount code so it was only $74.70. Shipping was $8. $75 for a jumpsuit is not what I would usually spend especially when purchasing online because I have no idea what the material feels like and what the quality is. I ordered this on Sunday night and it arrived on Tuesday morning.

What I got

This is the Bella Floral Jumpsuit by Serendipity Ave. It has a mock neckline, bell sleeves, heaps of ruffle trims, elastic waist with tie and keyhole back with button closure. The jumpsuit is lined and the polyester sheer outer material is a pale blue colour with pastel pink and white floral print.

Sizing

I am usually size 10-12, but since I’m not too sure of the fit for this dress I went a size up just in case. This jumpsuit is in size 12 (sold out already, but there are still size 8 and 10 left if you are quick). I think I could go for a size down (10) as the elastic waist is quite forgiving and there is a tie at the waist which is great. However, the length doesn’t really change with the size.

Comfort level

This is super comfortable and feels lightweight without being too thin. The quality is pretty good with no lines coming out anywhere. It is a more delicate material so beware of snags. The elastic waist and neckline doesn’t tug and scratch at all. The opening at the back would mean that you will need to wear one of those stick on nude bras.

Pairing

This is great for spring and summer even when it gets a little cooler as it is long sleeves. The light floaty material doesn’t get stick or tacky on the skin and the playsuit style makes this easy to wear even when you are out on the beach, park, festivals and parties without flashing anyone.

You can easily dress this up and down. Wear it with some lace up espadrilles for a summer look, some heeled sandals for brunch with some girlfriends, or even a pair of strappy nude heels for a night out or a date night. This is so flirty and fun.

If it gets a little chilly, out on a denim jacket or a tailored blazer or a boyfriend blazer for a chic look. For handbags, a smaller crossbody bag would look great or even a small clutch would look amazing too!
