Where I got it
I got this from Hikoco Sylvia Park for $54. I have heard that this is a comparable product to the Farmacy Honey Potion which is also a honey mask, but it is significantly more expensive and not easily accessible in New Zealand. I have been wanting to get this as honey is a great ingredient for all skin concerns – dehydrated, dry skin, acne prone skin, irritated skin, etc.

This is the I’m From Honey Mask (120g). The I’m From Honey Mask is a premium wash-off mask contains 38.7% natural Jirisan honey. It delivers not only rich nutrients but intense moisture to the skin. The mask is designed to supply nutrients to sensitive, dry and irritated skin from various external stress.

I’m From Honey Mask
How I find it
This mask looks and smells exactly like honey that I would eat! The texture and look also resembles a lot like real honey. I always use a spatula to scoop out products that come from a jar to keep it as hygienic as possible. The amount I got in the photo below is plenty for the entire face including the jaw area. You can put this on for 10 minutes and up to an hour! It is a joy to put this onto my face, it feels luxurious and soothing, I could massage this with my fingers all day! I have only tried to use this for up to 30 minutes and it has not dried out on any part of my face. I just put it on, relax, do chores, watch TV and when I feel like it, I just rinse it off with water. My skin feels so soothed and hydrated and smooth!

Overall
I absolutely love this honey mask! I used to use the Antipodes Aura mask and I do love that as well, but it doesn’t have nearly as much as honey as an ingredient as this one. It is thick but not hard to spread and it smells absolutely amazing, I’m sure my dog would like my face and bees will want to land on my face if I’m outside. I love how the mask doesn’t dry out or tighten on my skin so I can leave it on for a long time. Honey is a natural inflammatory ingredient so if you have acne prone skin or breakouts, this mask is great because it calms the redness down, reduces inflammatory, soothes the irritations and moisturises the skin at the same time. You don’t need to multi-mask this with another mask because it addresses all your concerns at the same time (except for lifting and toning, you could use another mask or skincare product for that).
