Too Faced Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Powder

Where I got it

I picked this up from Mecca in Botany Town Centre pretty much a year after I’ve tried the Too Faced Peach Perfect Foundation. Loved that foundation and I’ve just used up a loose powder and I needed to get another one. This loose powder is $55 from Mecca Maxima.

What I got

How I find it

With all the Peach Perfect collection, everything smells amazing of peaches, however, not real peaches that you can find in the fruit shop, it has an entirely different peach scent (maybe they smell differently in the US??). Anyway, this is a mattifying loose powder for setting the face makeup and I like to use it on my t-zone mainly. If I am not wearing foundation, I tend to use this on my t-zone as well to help control oil. There is no colour to the powder and it does go on translucent in my opinion (I have light-medium skin with a golden undertone). I use a large fluffy brush to pick up the powder, swirl it around in the lid and then I tip the brush upside down and tap it to let the product get into the bristles a little. Then I either dab the brush over my face or lightly swirl it all around.

You won’t get patches of powder around your face as this powder is super finely milled and glides onto the skin flawlessly. I love the scent, but it doesn’t linger on for too long compared to the highlighter also from the same collection.

Overall

A really lovely loose powder that does what it claims to do. The packaging has an inner lid to stop the powder from pouring out if you do wish to travel with it or bring it around with you which I think is an awesome idea. I already own 2 items from the Peach collection and 2 items from their Tutti Fruitti range and so far, I have nothing bad to say about them. I will definitely get more of the blush duo shades when the new ones come in. But overall, I love this powder and would continue to buy it in the future if it does run out. Hopefully, the collection hangs on for a little while longer, if not, I will need to stock up before they discontinue the collection.
