Where I got it
This is my first time purchasing a ColourPop kit and I ordered it on their website as I was really attracted to the packaging and both of these shades! I mean have you see how beautiful they both look? I’m not even sure if I can get myself to use them! I got this duo kit for $12 and it was excluded from their 20% off storewide offer. I ordered this on Friday and got shipping email on Tuesday. It was delivered on Thursday.
What I got
This is the ColourPop Rainbow Swirl Super Shock Pigment Kit (2x Super Shock pigment 2.1g each). Halo Top x ColourPop When you’re the type that can’t decide on a flavour, you swirl it! We’re feeling extra special in this pink Super Shock duo, featuring a fun and festive tie-dyed pigment! This item is limited edition.
Sherbert Day is an ultra-glitter, bubblegum pink with silver flecks. Creamsicle is an ultra-metallic, baby pink with a blue, violet flip.
How I find it
Omg, the packaging of this kit is so cute! The packaging of the product is cute as well with the Halo Top logo and bright pink packaging, the super shock pigments are smaller than the usual ones by ColourPop, but it’s cute. I actually would prefer this size over the larger ones.
Both formulas are the same and the finish is similar as well. Sherbert Day is such a vibrant bright pink mixed with silver specks, I’ve been using this as my main eyeshadow colour and it gives a nice pop of colour. Dreamsicle is great as inner corner highlight or over a more subtle shade to add that metallic/shimmery effect. They work great together and just gives you that summery fresh look.
Overall
I’m falling in love with ColourPop all over again! I used to love their super shock highlighters and blushes until I kind of got bored, but I do still keep them. They are still exactly the same texture as they were when they were new! I don’t know what else to say about them but this type of marble effect look on the pan surely is so pretty to look at and I love both of these shades!
