Where I got it
After purchasing my first round of Chanel makeup last month at the Farmers Beauty Week, I got totally addicted and the FOMO in me totally needed to get more! So I went back the next day and got more items! I picked up another Le Liner De Chanel in Rouge Noir, a Rouge Allure Ink Fusion and this, Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturiser. I was tossing between the CC cream and this one, but when I tried on the shades, the CC cream was way too pink on my warm undertone so I didn’t go ahead with that. This one here is $94 for 30ml.
What I got
This is the Chanel Les Beiges Sheer Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturiser in shade Medium. A tinted moisturiser that instantly evens out the skin with an imperceptible luminous veil, while delivering comfort and hydration.
The incredibly lightweight and ultra-fine texture becomes one with the skin, allowing it to breathe freely, and evens out the complexion with a sheer finish. Perfectly protected and moisturised, the skin looks radiant with a healthy outdoor glow.
– Healthy Glow Booster mineral pigments and Soft Focus powders even out the complexion, while C19 it with natural radiance.
– A hyaluronic acid derivative acts like a water trap on the skin surface and contributes to optimal hydration and comfort all day long.
– An antioxidant kalanchoe leaf extract, combined with SPF 30 / PA ++ sunscreen, protects the skin from environmental aggressors.
How I find it
From the website and the Chanel counter, it indicates this tinted moisturiser has SPF30, but the box and bottle itself have a little sticker over it that just says “with sunscreen”. I suppose it hasn’t been through particular NZ testings to provide that it does provide the said number of SPF, therefore cannot be marketed as SPF30.
Anyway, as with usual Chanel foundation, it comes in these little plastic bottles with a plastic screw top lid. It’s a squeeze bottle as well. It’s pretty compact to think that it has 30ml of product, but I kind of like the minimal packaging sometimes.
Keeping in mind that this is a tinted moisturiser, I have been using it after my serums as an actual moisturiser. Even though it may have SPF 30, you never get enough SPF from your makeup or moisturiser, so I always apply an SPF30 or more under this tinted moisturiser.
The consistency of this tinted moisturiser is more creamy than like a liquid foundation which I really enjoy to be honest. I apply with my fingers and blend with my fingers which were really easy and streak-free.
I tried to use this with and without a primer and with and without powder to set. I prefer to use this without a primer and set with powder because most of the time, I can’t be bothered using a primer and sunscreen under a tinted moisturiser because the whole reason for me to use a tinted moisturiser is to be nice and quick.
Overall
I am really enjoying this tinted moisturiser, every time I use this, I can see my skin looking much more even-toned and smooth. It feels great on the skin, like a cream, not just a foundation. It’s smooth to the touch and not drying at all.
It’s not a long-wearing foundation, so expect fading and wearing off when you touch your face and long hours. I like to set with a translucent setting powder to help Lee my oils down, but by around 4th hour, my natural oils will come through, but my skin still looks great, not cakey or patchy.
