Sioris Travel Set

Where I got it

After hearing quite a few good revised of the Time Is Running Out Mist by Sioris, I decided I wanted to give it a try. I did a quick google search for this brand and it is hardly stocked in NZ-based stores so I ordered it from Yesstyle.com. This set was $45, I ordered it on 13/08/20 and it arrived on 12/9/20. I ordered this along with some other products I wanted to try.  Yesstyle has all of these products in the kit for sale separately and in full-sizes, and the mist is around $23, the cleanser was about $47, the day cream is about $52 and the night cream is about $57.

Let’s talk about the brand because it is actually quite interesting. Sioris is regarded as a “clean” beauty brand and they use “natural and organic” products as well. I put emphasised these terms because there are some divided opinions on these products and I don’t really mind either way. Anyway, Sioris formulas are free from–parabens, petrochemicals, artificial fragrances, dyes, chemical preservatives, additives, silicones, sulfates and the list could go on.

Their natural ingredients are sourced in Korea and then harvested in peak season. Their top-selling Time is Running Out Mist uses 78% organic fruit water, switching between green plum for spring production and yuja for autumn production. This method ensures optimal freshness and effectiveness.

This is the Sioris Travel Set (4 products). Cleanse Me Softly Milk Cleanser 30ml. Time Is Running Out Mist 30ml. Stay With Me Day Cream 15ml. You Look So Young Night Cream 7ml. Cleanse Me Softly Milk Cleanser. Fresh and organic ingredients are the stars of this soothing milk cleanser/makeup remover by Sioris. This low pH, 100% natural cleanser is made with organic green plum water which is full of nutrients and minerals to invigorate skin. Macadamia seed oil which is high in antioxidants and fatty acids, along with natural plant-based surfactants, effectively cleanse while adding hydration. All the natural ingredients are sourced in Korea and harvested in peak season for optimal freshness and effectiveness. No parabens, artificial fragrance, additives or harmful chemicals, this vegan and cruelty-free Sioris Milk Cleanser is great for all skin types especially those with dry, dehydrated skin.  Also in essential-oil free version.

Time Is Running Out Mist. Time is Running Out Mist is an innovative 3-in-1 multi-care formula. This low pH, all-in-one toner, which also works as a mist and serum, gives thirsty skin a refreshing boost of hydration and nourishment. Use it as a toner and serum in your skincare routine or as a mist throughout the day. All natural mist is made with 78% organic fruit water (green plum or yuja, always in-season), which is packed with nutrients and minerals to provide immediate hydration. Three skin-benefiting oils, macadamia oil, jojoba oil and sunflower oil, provide long-lasting nourishment and moisture.  This product is produced in either Springtime or Autumn with Green Plum or Yuja respectively. Therefore the main ingredient (bolded) will vary.

You Look So Young Night Cream. The You Look So Young Night Cream is made the absolute freshest of natural ingredients including 64% organic fruit water (green plum or yuja, always in-season), which is full of skin-benefiting nutrients and minerals. Healing and hydrating Tamanu Oil* makes up 5% off this formula, as does antioxidant-rich Macadamia Nut Oil. Also infused with Green Tea Extract and Centella Asiatica to help soothe and calm irritated skin. This concentrated moisturizer works overnight leaving skin soft and revitalized.

How I find it

The milky cleanser is a low-foaming or low-lather milky cleanser so I will definitely use this after a good oil or balm cleanser to remove my makeup, I would probably use this as a morning cleanse as well to wash off any oils or sleeping mask I wore last night. It feels really soft and gentle on the skin, it would be great for dry skin, sensitive skin and probably combination skin as well.

The mist is definitely a favourite out of all these products – I mainly use it as a hydration toner/essence step after cleansing. I do a few sprays all over my face and just pat that in. My skin feels hydrated and moisturised, like I wouldn’t need to follow with a hydrating serum or moisturiser and I would be OK. I would say that it reminds me of how the Laneige Cream Skin Refiner mist would hydrate and moisturise my skin, but in a total different sort of formula.

The day cream and night cream feels pretty usual, nothing really special or different to be honest. They both feel and look quite similar as well, unless the day cream has sunscreen, I would be able to use the night cream during the day and just slap on sunscreen. Or the other way around.

Overall

I love the ethos and the overall feel of this brand, but the day and night cream are really so-so for me and I wouldn’t purchase the full-size because they are not exactly affordable, and I would be able to find something similar for cheaper. However, I would purchase the full size of the mist and I would like to try some of their other products. Some of their other products I want to try would be their Calming Day Ampoule, Soft Grain Scrub and Bring the Light Serum.
