I picked this up from the Chemist Warehouse for $19.99. I recently bought some cuticle oil to look after my poor cuticles and nail health. Being a mum, I really don’t have time to look after my hands and goodness me they are dry and peeling. I haven’t painted my nails for a long long time ever since I had kids (I don’t want to expose them to toxins from nailpolish and I got sick of constant chipped nails). I wanted something to look after my nails as well so I bought this without really doing much research.

This is the Revitanail Keratin Protein Serum Nail Treatment (30ml). Revitanail Keratin Strengthening Serum is clinically proven to strengthen, protect and hydrate nails. Its water-based formula allows it to act as a protective base coat under polish. DBP-, toluene- and formaldhyde-free, the serum can be applied 2-3 times a day or as often as required onto polished or clean nails to leave them nourished, hydrated and protected against daily wear and tear.

How I find it
Ever since I bought this, I have been using this daily at least once a day if not more. I just pump a small amount onto my nails and just massage it all in, around my cuticles as well. I was expecting this to be a liquid to be applied like a nail polish, only onto the nails and just let it dry, but I was surprised it was more of a lotion. I would imagine this would treat my cuticles as well. It is absorbed quickly and doesn’t leave my fingers feel greasy or slippery so I like to apply this often.

Overall
After years of not wearing nail polish on a frequent basis (maybe just once every 6 months when I felt like it), the condition of my nails were so much better. They are strong and not discoloured. I have also been taking collagen powders so my nails do grow pretty fast. By applying this nail serum, I see that even when I am back to painting my nails (not as often as I used to), my nails are still in that great condition it used to be. My cuticles were also really moisturised and nourished as well.
