Where I got it
When Wayne announced on his YouTube channel that he will be launching new blush palettes, I was really excited! He created these all by himself, as in he did not collab with other brands to create these shades and there are 4 palettes in total. He envisioned that makeup would suit all ages, not just young people. He said that his shade selection would be suitable for people in their 40s and 50s so won’t see shades like orange, lilac or barbie pink in his collection.
His products are sold exclusively on Beautylish as he does have a personal history with the owner of Beautylish and his brushes and lipstick and lipglosses are all sold on Beautylish. The blush palettes are all USD$45 each. Not the most affordable blush/highlighter palettes abt but they are really high quality and the pan sizes are actually quite large. I ordered these on 30/9, I have been waiting for so long so I was a little frustrated because my sister ordered her blushes one day later than I did and she got her order less than a week later. I emailed Beautylish around a month after ordering and now it is 5/11 and I finally got it. It took about 5 weeks to get here!

How I find it
There were 4 options with his blush palettes currently and out of the 4 options I picked this because the other two lighter pink/peach shades were paired with a warm-toned highlighter which I didn’t really want. I wanted a cool-toned highlighter so I picked Blush Peony which is described as medium petal pink with a cool iridescent pink highlighter. From the website photos, the highlighter looks quite pale, almost silvery, but the swatches show the highlighter looking very pinky on darker skin tones. I was really anxious to try it out myself.
You can either wear these on their own or place the highlighter under the blush or the other way around. The blush shade is called Sweetened and the highlighter shade is called Shimmer Pink. Sweetened is a medium pink with a matte finish and Shimmer Pink is a pale pinky-lavender toned highlighter.
When I opened up the box, I was surprised to see how large the palette is and the pans were also quite big. It has a large mirror which is super handy. The compact folds all the way flat and a little bit more so you can lie it flat on the table.
The formula of the blush is velvety smooth and not powdery at all. I ran my fingertip across it many times and it still did not bunch up and get patchy. The highlighter has a different texture – almost a creamy-to-powder formula and it is not waxy or balmy at all.
Overall
The matte blush is so pretty, the matte pink blush looks great on light to medium skin tones in my opinion. It is so finely milled and not powdery at all, it is so smooth in the pan and on the face. It applies smoothly and evenly without any patchiness. It is not super pigmented so it is easy to control. You can build the intensity up, but I find that only 2 light layers would be sufficient to see good colour pay-off.
The highlighter looks really pretty in the pan and only when you see it in real-person, you can see the pink glow within the formula. The creamy texture means that it is probably better applied with like a kabuki brush instead of a fluffy highligher brush. I love using a round top kabuki brush and then applied over the cheekbones area.
I actually couldn’t see a big difference between applying the highlighter over blush or blush over highlighter. To me, they look basically the same. However, I do enjoy using these products separately because of how pretty the blush is. The highlighter does have a pinky tone to it which can enchance the blush.
Overall, I am happy with the product. There is a tonne of product on the pan and would last me a long time. The quality is really good and it is so easy to apply for even beginners. I think the other shade I might purchase (if he restocks) would be Coral Rose which is a peachy pink blush with a beige champagne highlighter which I think would look amazing on my skintone as well.
