Sensori+ Gayndah Orchard 4623 range

Where I got it

I received this amazing prize pack as part of an IG giveaway they were hosting in late January. I have been looking into this brand for a little while. Initially I was interested in their detoxifying candles, and then hand sanitizers and room sprays. I haven’t really looked into their skincare or body care products. These were sent to me from Australia, but I know this brand is available on AdoreBeauty.co.nz, Smith & Caughey’s, and Ballentynes.  The total value of this prize pack is AUD$192.

What I got 

The prize pack contains a shower oil, a body lotion, an aromatic room mist and a soy candle. All of these products are in the Gayndah Orchard 4623 range (scent). The Gayndah Orchard 4623 scent has notes on Bergamot Rind, Neroli and Cedar Wood – it is a really soothing, woody scent with a hint of freshness.

Shower Oil (AUD$49 for 200ml). This premium all-natural plant-derived cleanser is perfect for dehydrated skin. How I find it

The Shower Oil comes in a tranparent bottle with an air-less pump bottle. The bottle is tinted yellowish-brown and rather large. Each pump gives a small amount of product out which was a little annoying. I needed to get at least 10-15 pumps each time I use it. It does not lather, it only emulsifies when in contact with water. I feel that the shower oil is not silky enough on the skin and it didn’t really go a long way. I had to get around 5 pumps more to cover the rest of my body. After rinsing off, my skin felt like there was a bit of residue left on my skin and my skin felt moisturised, almost like I applied a body oil.

After shower, I lightly dry my skin with a towel and then went onto apply body lotion. The Oil-in-Lotion also comes in an air-less pump bottle, similar to the Shower Oil, it is solid-coloured with gold ombre down to a dark greenish brown colour. I was not expecting the body lotion to be quite as thick as it is. It almost feel like a moisturiser with sunscreen because it was quite a solid white colour and it has a thickness that was a little hard to spread. The scent is stronger with the lotion than the shower oil, but it still felt really soothing and relaxing. I used about 1 pump for each arm and 2 pumps for each leg and then a couple of pumps for the rest of the body. The lotion does not feel greasy or oily, but moisturised and smooth.

The Aromatic Mist is really convenient if you want to freshen up your surrounding area without burning a candle. This can be handy in the car or in the office and just do a couple spritz during the day. This way, I can take that beautiful bergamot and neroli scent with me and at the same time detoxify the air. Love this one.

The deep green tinted glass jar and aluminium alloy lid of the Aromatic Soy Candle really elevates the look of my bedroom/bathroom. The dark green soy wax inside matches with the glass jar and I’m quite glad the jar is relatively small so I don’t need to burn this for over 6 hours to burn a full circle to avoid tunneling.

Overall

I thoroughly enjoyed everything in this collection and I especially enjoy using the Aromatic Mist because it is so convenient and I have been spraying this everywhere and all the time. It smells amazing and just relaxes me without being overwhelming. The Shower Oil and Body Lotion smells really nice, but the texture of both of them could be better. For example, the shower oil wasn’t as thick as I hoped it would be and the pump made it really tough to get the desired amount to cover the entire body. I always have to go for seconds or thirds. The body lotion on the other hand was a little thicker than expected and I would love for this to be a little more lotion-like instead of cream-like. Regardless, I really love the scent and how moisturising they both are to my body without feeling sticky or greasy.

The candle I also enjoyed, but purely because of personal preference and lifestyle habits, I seldom find myself burning candles because I am always worried my kids will knock it over. Another main reason is because my hubby is really sensitive to fragrances – home fragrances, perfumes, my body lotion, my shampoo, my body wash, everything. If it doesn’t agree with him, he will get a headache. So I usually save candletime for when he is out and when I am nearby the candle. Nonetheless, I think he is fine with this scent because it is really fresh and not sickly sweet or floral so it is uplifting for him as well.
