Where I got it
If you have been following me on my blog and IG, you may already know that I love beauty subscription boxes and Mintd Box is my very first subscription experience. I have purchased many boxes last year and thoroughly loved all of the products curated for each of these boxes.
I am happy to announce that Mintd Box has asked me to partner with them, so this particular box has been sent to me complimentary, but the entire review is honest and unbiased.
Their subscription boxes are usually £70 and with shipping, it comes to £77.50. Which is approximately NZD$150. This box is worth £212. If you missed out on the box at the subscription stage, you can often purchase these boxes in the Gift Store for £95 excluding shipping. Mintd box often has sales for their boxes, so if you are on a tight budget, wait for a sale and get them in the Gift Store.

How I find it
One of the products I am most excited about in this box has to be the Oskia Renaissance Mask. I already love all the Oskia products I own and I love to try more from their range. I have not seen this product before or heard of it so I am quite anxious to try it. So I wash my face and make sure it is nice and clean. Then I use a spatula that it comes with to dig up some of the balm. The mask has a light peachy colour, and looks almost like a cleansing balm. As soon as you rub it into the skin, it turns white. Once the mask turns white, leave it on for 10 mins. It doesn’t dry up and stays whitish-looking. It is easy to rinse off and skin feels smooth and clean.
While I was waiting for the Oskia mask to marinade, I like to multi-task so I decided to hop into the shower. Before that, I used the Aromatherapy Associates Rose Bath & Shower Oil. As per the instructions, you DO NOT drop this into the bathwater or apply it to damp skin in the shower like a usual bath oil or shower oil. I pour the oil into the cap and gradually pout the oil into my hands because a capful is quite a lot and it was a little difficult to apply without dripping. So I applied to my chest, abdomen, arms, and the rest of my lower body in parts. It feels like a dry oil instead of a massage oil because it is quickly absorbed instead of stay on top of the skin. Then I hop into the shower, and just let the warm water run through your body and just cleanse as usual. The oily feeling will be gone after cleansing, but the aromatic scent will fill the room and linger on my body.
After the shower, my skin feels amazing and smells really nice. Actually, my entire bathroom now smells like a spa. I only need something moisturising and non-scented if I want to keep that scent. Otherwise, if I am not using any aromatherapy shower products, I will use the Prismologie Rose Quartz & Rose Balm. It comes with a puff so I lightly rubbed the puff over the balm to pick up the product and then apply to my skin. The balm gives a very natural looking sheen on the skin that is not glittery or sparkly. I do need to go into the balm a few times to cover my upper half of my body. I can tell that the balm and the puff will get a little dirty as I use this so you might want to wash the puff out after every few uses. Also make sure you replace the metal cap over the balm to prevent it from drying out.
After I moisturised my body with the Prismologie balm, I am ready to wash off my mask. My skin feels smooth and not irritated. Then I apply a few sprays of my current toner and then I apply a full pump of the Kora Organics Noni Bright Vitamin C Serum all over my face and neck. The vitamin C serum feels light and hydrating. Then I seal everything in with my night time moisturiser. I would use this serum during the day as well, but not at night when I will be using tretinoin.
Overall
Overall, I really enjoyed this box and in particular I enjoyed the Oskia Renaissance Mask and the Aromatherapy Associates Bath and Shower Oil the most. The mask was such a joy to use and it brightens and smooths my skin effectively without irritations or sensitivity. The bath and shower oil smells amazing and just transforms my bathroom into a spa room. The entire experience was a real pleasure.
The Prismologie body balm is something very different to what I already have so that was really refreshing. I loved how it was really velvety smooth instead of stick, but it did not really provide moisture to the skin. I would probably only use it as a fragrance balm for a light sheen and scent, but will need separate moisturiser. As for the Kora Organics Noni Glow Vitamin C serum, I have yet to give that a full 4-6 weeks trial so I really cannot comment much on it. It is a brand that I have been wanting to try and I am glad I got to try it in this value box.
Looking forward to my next box from Mintd Box! I hope you enjoyed my review, thanks for reading!
