Where I got it
I ordered this on Sephora as I have been wanting to try this range for a while. I love the light blue/green coloured packaging and I’m looking forward to the hydrating effects of this range/product. If this goes well, I will purchase more from the range. This serum is $125 of Sephora.no and it is also available from Farmers, Smith & Caughey and some Life Pharmacies. If Sephora has a sale, I always check out the Dior products because 20% off is the best deal you can get.

This is the Dior Hydra Life Deep Hydration Sorbet Water Essence (40ml). Enriched in Mallow and Haberlea leaf, this essence offers 3 actions in 1 single step: the ultra-concentrated hydration of a serum, the radiance boost of a gentle peel and the effect of a toning lotion. Deeply moisturized, the skin looks smooth and clarified. Day after day, it is more resilient, healthier and so beautiful you will prefer it bare. Formulated with Mallow, Haberlea Leaf extract and natural fruit acids that gives off an extremely yet delicately gentle peel for daily exfoliation of the skin.

Dior Hydra Life Deep Hydration Sorbet Water Essence
How I find it
After cleansing, I like to use a hydrating spray or mist all over hte face so that my skin is damp. Then I would use this essence and I use about 4 pumps because the pump mechanism dispenses quite a small amount each time so I need about 4 pumps. Then I spread that between my palms and massage it onto my face. It feels really refreshing and lightweight on the skin and the texture is really watery and I could feel no silicone-texture on the application.
I wouldn’t need a heavy cream on top for my combination oily skin, but if you have dry skin, you will definitely need something heavier to lock everything in. If you have oily skin, you may only need an oil-free moisturiser or a lightweight moisturiser. Remember to put on sunscreen during the day!
Overall
I enjoy this essence very much, from the scent to the texture to the hydrating properties. Everything is what I expected from Dior. I could easily incorporate this into my existing skincare routine as a hydrating step and it doesn’t interfere with my other products. It makes my skin plump and soft and when I put a moistures on top to seal everything in, the hydrating effect is long-lasting.
