Where I got it
One day, when I was putting on an outfit and needed a belt to go over my dress and on my waist and I noticed that my wardrobe is missing a thin belt that would fit on my waist. I have a Valentino V-logo reversible belt, but that is 3cm thick and it is a hip belt rather than a waist belt. I wanted a small belt for the waist and I went for this Balmain B-Belt. I ordered this on MyTheresa.com while it was on sale. It was down 30% from €215 so I got this for €150. That’s a pretty good deal. These belts are currently around €290 each!

What I got
This is the Balmain B-Belt Leather belt in colour camel (IT75 or US/UK30). This is a 2cm (1″) thick belt. Calf leather with buckle fastening. Made in France. I think some colours are seasonal and currently this colourway is not available at MyTheresa.com, but you can find a black one or a cream colour at the moment. I think this camel colour matches my clutch and can match a lot of my other outfits.
As per usual MyTheresa orders, it came in these beautiful bright yellow boxes that you can flatten and keep. It also comes with a card folder with all the invoices and returning documentation. I keep all these yellow boxes because they look simply stunning.

Inside the box, we have tissue paper protecting the white Balmain box. The belt comes coiled up inside the dust bag with the MyTheresa tag. As soon as you cut the tag, you are unable to return it.

I am very pleased with the colour and quality of the belt. The slim 20mm belt is great to cinch in the waist of a dress. It is not a reversible because you cannot remove the buckle. Therefore the belt is simply just what it looks like, and no other frills.

Overall
Exactly what I was looking for and the size fits perfectly with room to grow or slim down. The camel colour looks so good with white, cream, black, mostly anything neutral. as you can see that I also wore this over my emerald coloured silk dress and that looked pretty good as well. It’s not a dressy belt so you can wear this with a more casual outfit like over jeans or shorts. Loving this belt and I think I would consider getting one in black in the future.
