Where I got it
I have been waiting and waiting for this highlighter to become available in New Zealand since maybe April? It started popping up in the luxury beauty IG accounts I follow. It finally arrived in New Zealand around mid-July. First I see it on the Smith & Caughey website, but there is only one shade – 01 Nude Glow (link here). Whereas in-stores at Farmers and Life Pharmacy (Botany and Sylvia Park respectively) stock 4 shades currently (shade 01, 02, 03 and 05). Both locations are selling these for $94 each. I picked up the 02 Pink Glow and 03 Pearlescent Glow. I picked up the 02 Pink Glow at Farmers first, then I love the compact so much, I decided to get shade 03 as well. If we are getting 06 Coral Glow, I will definitely consider that as well.
What I got
This is the Dior Forever Couture Luminizer Highlighter in shade 02 Pink Glow and 03 Pearlescent Glow (6g). The Dior Forever Couture Luminizer highlighter reveals a spectacular iridescent finish and boosts the complexion’s radiance. Composed of 95%* natural-origin pigments, this highlighter powder is concentrated in pearlescent pigments with a multidimensional glow. It blends seamlessly with the skin and offers perfect makeup wear from morning to night. Infused with wild pansy extract, the highlighter protects the skin’s natural hydration: throughout the day, comfort is guaranteed.

How I find it
First of all, the compact is just beautiful – it is the same size and thickness as the Forever Bronzer and when you open it up, it has the same pan and mirror. It’s just gorgeous. 02 Rose Glow is a pinky highlighter with a cool undertone. 03 Pearlescent is an icy highlighter with a cool undertone. It has a sheer silvery base with highly reflective shimmers. From the pan, it looks white, but when it goes on, it is very translucent. This is definitely a shimmery highlighter instead of a sheen or glow. You can see hints of blue and pink shifts in the highlighter.
From the finger-swatch, they look quite similar and quite sheer, but when you pick up the product with a brush, you only need to lightly dip it into the pan. The sheen/shimmer is really fine and delicate, not chunky at all and it applies seamlessly without bunching up or looking patchy. Pearlescent Glow might not be for everyone and personally, I would wear this very lightly and most likely wear this on my eyes on the inner corner or a shimmery topper. Rose Glow is much more wearable for most skin tones and it gives you a sheer flush of colour.
Overall
I really hope they will bring in Coral Glow because that looks like such an interesting shade because it has a shift to it and can be used as a blush at the same time. The texture of this highlighter is so fine that it does not accentuate pores and fine lines around the area. Rose Glow gives me that natural glow with a hint of natural colour, but Pearlescent gives me that extra punch and pop of fun, but not like party makeup if you know what I mean. However, at $94 a pop, it is not something that you cannot find in a more affordable price range. The price you are paying is also for the beautiful packaging and the brand. It is high quality and it performs very well.
*Apologies, this post was started quite a few months prior and it took me a while to post it as things were piling up over one another*
