I was sent this from GoPicky in exchange for my honest opinions. GoPicky is an app that harbours tonnes of product reviews from people all over the world. You have K-beauty, Japanese skincare, Western skincare, etc. I’m not actually very active on there most of the time, but you log in, post reviews and comment on other people’s posts, etc. and you gain points for doing that. With those points, you can apply for giveaways of new products (mainly K-beauty products) in exchange for your honest review on IG or just on their apps. Hopefully I’ve got these details right, I am not an expert, but it is an interesting app and area to check out new products.

This is the SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50 PA++++ (50ml). A non-nano chemical sunscreen that blocks UV rays, while simultaneously hydrating the skin. Leaves skin with a moisturized, dewy finish.

How I find it
I have actually tried some Skin1004 skincare previously and it was their Tone Brightening Capsule Ampoule and Brightening Boosting Toner and they were both really nice and gentle. I was really excited when GoPicky emailed me to let me know that I have won the giveaway for this sunscreen. The ingredients appeal to me and so does the packaging so when I received it, I started using this immediately. So this is a sunscreen product with SPF50 PA++++ which provides UVA and UVB protection. Chemical sunscreen if anyone needs to know as well. The product comes in a tube-shape packaging with the cap at the bottom and it has a pump for dispensing.
The sun serum is more like a light lotion or emulsion. You need at least xxx pumps to cover the entire face and when you first blend it out, it can look a little white like a sunscreen, but when fully blended in, you get absolutely no white cast. It is moisturising and hydrating on the skin. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and comfortable. It has a very light scent, but it’s not a fragrance scent, more like a skincare product scent. I would say this is suitable for most skin types including oily skin because it is lightweight and non-greasy. It doesn’t leave a glow on the skin so you don’t need to worry about looking greasy.

Overall
Absolutely love this at first try. At SPF50 and this price, this certainly something I would repurchase. Trust Korean skincare brands to get these things right! At the moment, I am using the Biore UV Aqua Rich Protect Lotion SPF50 which I absolutely love as well. That one gives a more glowy finish which people with dry skin love. I will now have a look at all other products offered by Skin1004 because so far, I am very impressed with their products!
