Where I got it
I was sent these products from Picky.com for my honest review. I have previously tried Skin1004 products before and I love them, so I was really excited to try these out. Their products are really gentle, fragrance-free, and works so well with my skin. The packaging is simple, but still nice and high quality. I do have other products from them on my wishlist and I will be ordering from them soon.
Anyway, with Picky.com, I have been gifted these products in exchange for my honest review, but I am already feeling a little biased! Skin1004 is a Korean natural skincare brand focusing on clean and pure natural ingredients. Skin1004 has a couple of lines – Centella, Hyalu-Cica, Poremizing, Tea-Trica, and Tone Brightening.

How I find it
I always enjoy a cleansing oil so I hardly come across one that I wil not finish. Except for one that does not emulsify. I really do not enjoy using a cleansing oil that does not emulsify and rinse off clean. I can’t tolerate it, and my skin cannot tolerate it, it just clogs my mores no matter how much rave reviews it has.
Anyway, this cleansing oil ia fragrance-free and colour-less. As it’s name states, it has a light texture so it is very runny. Therefore you really only need one pump to cover the entire face easily. The lightweight texture makes it really easy to spread. It melts my makeup and sunscreen effectively. I just rub my hands together with the oil and then go striaght into my face, eye, and lip area. If I have been wearing quite heavy eye and lip makeup, I would remove those first with a eye and lip makeup remover because I don’t want my eye makeup to go on my lips and vice versa. Once I’m happy with the removal, I add a little bit of water to emulsify and then just rinse off. Of course, I follow up with a second cleanse.
When I try the soothing cream for the first time, I was expecting a lightweight, white cream that is medium or medium-heavy weight. But unexpectedly, this is a semi-translucent gel-cream. It is very soothing and almost cooling on the skin from the gel-like texture. A little goes a long way and leaves a slightly dewy look on the skin. I was really not expecting this. I would say this is more of a soothing hydrating gel-lotion instead of a soothing cream. But this is actually perfect for my combination oily skin! From time to time, I do experience sensitivity whilst my skin is still feeling greasy and experiencing quite bad breakouts, and a heavy soothing cream is not something I look forward to putting on my face. I still prefer something light. But worry not, this “gel-cream” does not leave your skin looking “wet” and “greasy”, it does settle down, but not “dry down”. I don’t know how they do it, but it is surely a very pleasant product to use.
Overall
Once again, I am wowed by Skin1004 products. Let alone the packaging, the texture of the products is just really pleasant to use and it just works. I also love the price range of these products. I have no doubts I would finish up the cleansing oil, but I cannot be 100% certain I will repurchase because I would say this one isn’t something that is particularly special. So it just comes down to whether the product is convenient to purchase. As for the soothing cream, this is a very pleasant product to use and I love the soothing effects of the gel-cream. This is great when my skin is sensitive during summer-time when my skin simply cannot handle too heavy of a cream. If I do need extra moisture, I would apply another ceramide lotion to seal everything in.
