Dior Limited Edition J’adore Parfum d’Eau Set

Where I got it

We are heading towards the holiday season and the WeChat crowd-buying groups I’m in went into a frenzy with discounts on Christmas gift sets, special deals, etc. There was a 15% off all new holiday sets from Dior and I have been wanting to buy the J’adore body oil for a while now. When I saw this set was discounted from $240 to $204, so I decided to get it because the 50ml perfume itself is already $223 from Dior.co.nz! I am so happy that I did because it also comes in this lovely limited edition box! The original J’adore perfume is also available in a set with the body milk, also for $240. I have a 50ml bottle of this parfum d’eau already and I absolutely adore it. I am so happy that I got another new bottle for a good price.

What I got

This is the Dior Limited Edition J’adore Parfum d’Eau Set. dior.co.nz – To celebrate the holidays, Dior has created a harmonious gift set that unites two J’adore creations. A scented duo designed to immerse you into the floral notes that characterize the spirit of J’adore.

• J’adore Parfum d’eau (50 ml). Alcohol-free, this Eau de parfum is to be generously sprayed in a cloud to release its fresh, floral notes.
• J’adore Huile Divine (75 ml). The J’adore dry oil that enhances the body and the hair in a step that complements the perfume application.

How I find it

Such a gorgeous box and packaging from Dior. They really do the most amazing designs for holiday gift packs. They are perfect as gifts and also great for treating yourself. The perfume packs often comes in different combinations and this one here with the d’Eau I think is a new one because it is new this year. The perfume and body oil are placed securely in the box with the back sleeve and the internal section removable so you can resuse the box as something else.

The standard bottle size for the perfume has that signature gold design of J’adore perfumes with white frosted glass bottle. The body oil is half the size of the standard bottle and this is a plastic bottle, unfortunately without a stopper so the oil just pours out from the wide opening. I would highly suggest either putting a stopper on it or pour it into a spray bottle or something if you want to use it without wasting product. I was expecting the bottle would have a spray nozzle, so I was a little disappointed.

The body oil is feels lightweight and smells amazing. It is runny, so a little goes a long way. It is moisturising with a little bit of glow on the skin. It absorbs within minutes and leaves no greasy residue. The fragrance is beautiful but not overwhelming. You could layer this under the d’eau perfume to make it last longer. I would love to get a full bottle of this once this bottle is finished.

Overall

I already love the perfume and with the price of this box set (even without the discount), it is great value for money. It would also be a great gift because it is beautifully packaged and ready to be gifted in a bag.  You can readily reuse the box as decor or just a box for your items.
