Medicube Red Succinic Peeling Pad

Where I got it

2 months ago I received a PR package from Medicube as part of the ambassador program and there were 3 toner pads. This particular one targets blemish-prone skin. The Red line from Medicube is formulated for acne-prone skin, for teenagers and adults. The Red Succinic Peeling pads are USD$15.60Unfortunately, the cost of shipping to New Zealand is crazy expensive, therefore I highly suggest you to purchase from other online retailers.

Medicube Red Succinic Peeling Pad

How I find it

As a teenager, I suffer from mild acne, mostly on my cheeks, nose and forehead. As I stepped into adulthood, I suffered from hormonal acne which usually occurs around my jawline and chin area. Spot treatment creams are usually not efficient in treating areas of breakouts and I was having these deep cystic acne as well. So I always go for AHA, BHA and retinol products to deeply penetrate the pores and try to improve my skin cell turnover. A succinic acid pad with AHA and BHA is just perfect. Combined with Niacinamide, this works great to strengthen my skin barrier and keep my dead skin cells from accumulating at the same time.

After cleansing, this peeling pad is the first thing I use all over my face and neck, sometimes I wipe it across my chest as well so nothing goes to waste. Then I would use a serum and moisturiser of choice. Lately, it’s been a combination of copper peptide serum or retinol serum and then a simple, but nourishing moisturiser. I also use Vitamin C during the day with an SPF50+. I see my skin slowly improving, even when I have the odd breakout, it goes down relatively quickly without irritation or redness or hyperpigmentation.

Overall

I have been enjoying Medicube toner pads – this Red Succinic Peeling Pad and the Zero Pore pads for cleaning my pores, keeping my skin clear and blemishes to a minimum without stripping my skin barrier. My skin has been so healthy and glowy lately and I can say that these pads did help me out a lot.
