Where I got it
When I finally arrive at @cosme Tokyo in Japan, I was overwhelmed by how big the store is and how many brands there are that I have never heard of. After quickly exploring the ground floor level, I went upstairs to check out the first floor level. Right at the top of the stairs I saw a little promo area of this brand called BBIA (Korean beauty). There were cute displays of their lip tint products (lip tints are really popular in Japan/Korea lately and they were also offering this mini lip tint set with their crystal lip gloss.
I was able to pick my preferred shade of lip tint in a mini bottle (sooo cute) and I picked 01 Gardenia L’Eau. The little set came to just 700yen which was around $7.50 NZD. (May 2024). You are also able to purchase BBIA products from online retailers like Olive Young, YesStyle, etc.

What I got
I picked up a mini lip tint set by BBIA and it contains a mini version of L’Eau Tint (01 Gardenia L’Eau) and full-size of L’Eau Gloss. “As light as water and glides on effortlessly. Take the best of both Glow Tint and Water Tint. the more you apply, the more vivid and clearer the L’eau will be. Fresh, non-sticky finish. Contains floral tea complex for a watery and transparent moisture glow. Long-lasting, close-fitting colour stays for a long time. Comes in 7 shades.
How I find it
Shade 01 Gardenia L’eau is a light natural peach. The applicator has a hole in the middle acting as a reservoir for product so one swipe will be enough and you don’t need dip into the tube again. I love the neutral pink of this shade, it is such an easy to wear shade and the formula is hydrating and moisturising. It also has a light floral scent that will fade gradually. The stain that this lip tint leaves is impressive and the colour stays true.

The L’eau Gloss in 01 Crystal L’Eau. I am unable to find more information on the gloss, but it looks like it only comes in one shade and it is a clear gloss with micro-shimmers. The lip gloss has a sweet, minty scent and it almost plumping because it is so cooling on the lips. The jelly-like gloss looks amazing on the lips. It looks equally nice on bare lips and over any lip colour. I like to use this when the gloss of my lip tint has faded, leaving me with only the stained colour. This lip gloss will revive the overall lip look and make it look fresh again.

Overall
I absolutely love this combo. The tiny little tube of the tint is so handy in the handbag, and I am so sad to see that I am running out! The shade is beautiful on the lips and the staining power is amazing. The gloss is a great colour-reviver and to refresh my lips on the go without adding more colour. It works on all other lip tints or lip colours, and I love how the applicator is plastic and can be cleaned easily without compromising the rest of the clear gloss in the tube. I am also addicted to the minty scent of this lip gloss and love how cooling it is on my lips.
