Where I got it
When I saw these new blushes from Hourglass, I knew I would like to buy at least one of them provided the shades and the prices are not too expensive. When it finally became available at Mecca in late August, I ordered 2 right away at the price of $67 from Mecca. They are 10ml bottles and for $67, they might seem expensive, but Hourglass products are high quality so I’m confident they will be worth the money.

How I find it
The liquid blushes come in the standard gold and brown box packaging. The cute little bottles have a screw top lip and a frosted plastic bottle so you can see the colour of the blush. At the bottom of the bottle is a soft black button that you can push to dispense a drop of blush product. Upon opening the lid, I could see the blush flowing out and I can tell it can be a little messy sometimes. I dispensed a drop of blush as a swatch and the formula is very pigmented!
Whim is described as a bright pink and it is pigmented. One drop of Whim will be enough blush for 5 faces! Never drop this directly onto your face because you only need the tiniest amount each time. If you also have their #15 blush brush, blend the blush on the back of the hand and dip it on your cheeks. It gives you the most gorgeous pink flush and it has a nice blending time. It does not contain any shimmer or sparkles and it leaves the skin with a natural petal finish. No dewiness and feels weightless on the skin.
Scene is described as a soft warm pink and this would be my go-to shade on a daily basis. Scene is muted and not as bright, but it is still pigmented. It is more of a mauve and looks great on the cheeks. Same formula and finish as above, Scene gives you that natural colour on the cheeks that doesn’t make you look like you’ve been working out.
Overall
These liquid blushes are so beautiful and they are very long lasting on the skin. They are easy to blend with a stippling brush, but I would avoid using a sponge because it will get eaten up. This formula without shimmer or a sheen is great for pretty much all makeup look because you can add glow on top if you wish and the formula does not move the foundation underneath. I am so in love with Scene for daily use and Whim is very pretty when I need a bit more colour.
I love the shade range available because they all look very wearable and the descriptions of each shade appeal to me. I also tried out craft and Vision. I have mis-named the swatches below, so the deeper one at the top is Craft, the pinky-rose is Vision. I personally love both shades and I know I would use Vision often and find use of Craft on night outs.
