Genabelle PDRN products

Where I got it

After a couple of IG reels of influencing, and a very good offer from Stylevana, I decided to pick up the toning ampoule and the box of rejuvenating sheet masks. The toning ampoule was NZD$42.89 and the masks were $19.99. The deluxe sample-sized toner and cream were free gifts. Genabelle does have a website, but they do not ship to New Zealand. You are able to find their products on StyleVana, YesStyle, and SongofSkin.

What I got

This is the Genabelle PDRN Rejuvenating Toner (30ml), PDRN Vita Toning Ampoule (Jumbo 70ml), PDRN Rejuvenating Cream (20ml), and PDRN Rejuvenating Mask (5 pcs).

PDRN Rejuvenating Toner (30ml). A regenerative water-type toner created to protect and soothe dry and troubled skin. All-in-one skin barrier repairing toner for dull, dry, and/or combination skin types.

• PDRN: A powerful ingredient that helps to repair and rejuvenate damaged skin that also nourishes and hydrates the skin deep.
• Panthenol: Skin barrier fortifying ingredient that reduces the appearance of fine lines and dry, flaky skin
• Niacinamide: Evens out rough skin texture and reduces dark spots.
• HTD Genacomplex: A unique patented complex created with salmon DNA, 3 Layers of Hyaluronic Acid, and Tranexamic Acid.

How I find it

I have been eager to try these products because of all the craze with PDRN, especially salmon PDRN. There are vegan PDRN out there, extracted from ginseng I believe. There are other products in the Genabelle PDRN line, but I am only trying out 4 products.

Let’s start with the Rejuvenating Toner. The toner has a watery consistency and it is a toner that you would use with a cotton pad, instead of patting it on the skin. It is very lightweight without leaving any stickiness or film on the skin. You can also create your own toner pad masks with this toner and leave it on for 1-2 minutes for a quick hydration.

Upon application, skin feels hydrated and looking plump and dewy. This toner can be layered to intensify the hydration, but my skin definitely needed a serum and moisturiser after this.

Next is the Vita Toning Ampoule, which has been the most viral on the internet at the moment. The ampoule is a clear serum with vitamin capsules suspended in it. The serum has a lovely light texture that spreads very easily on the skin. It feels instantly hydrating and moisturising. It leaves a slightly dewy look on the skin, but it is not sticky to the touch.

I love this step of my skincare routine because this is so refreshing and hydrating, my skin looks plump and hydrated afterwards.

Moving on, we have the Rejuvenating Cream. This has no SPF so it can be used AM and PM. The rejuvenating cream has a medium in thickness with a slightly balm-texture on the skin. It blends into the skin easily without feeling thick, but definitely a layer of moisture on top. This cream does not leave any swines on the skin.

Lastly, the PDRN Rejuvenating Mask. I love the texture of this mask – it is a medium thickness fibre material that is soaked in the serum and it does not drip. The mask adheres to the skin without sliding down. I had to cut down the sides of my nose for a better fit, but overall the fit of the mask around the sides, my eyes, my mouth and chin area is pretty spot on. My skin feels hydrated, soothed and moisturised after using this mask, I absolutely love it. My skin is plump and looks brighter after removing. Honestly, I have been finding these fibre/fabric sheet masks performing better than hydrogel masks.

Overall

I am very pleased with everything I have tried so far from Genabelle and my top picks have got to be the Rejuvenating Mask and the Ampoule. The mask is an intensive treatment that leaves my skin so plump and glowy afterwards. The ampoule is a daily serum to give me that amazing glow during the day and continued use I can see my skin looking brighter and hydrated. While the toner is more viral online, I think I need a full size bottle to see long-term benefits. It is hydrating, but if I had to choose, I would go for the ampoule over the toner. The rejuvenating cream was a bit disappointing because I thought it would be more moisturising/glowy on the skin. However, I find that the cream reduces the glow from the ampoule when I apply it as the last step of my skincare routine. It feels and looks a tad boring so I don’t think I will purchase the full size of the cream.
