Loreal Magic Lumi Pure Light Primer

Where I got this: I got this from the makeup sale at ASB show grounds last weekend. I got this for $19.

What I got: This is a brightening primer from Loreal in a small pump bottle with a clear cap. The bottle is really pretty and slim. It claims to hydrate and protect the skin while it masks irregularities and uneven skin textures. The lightweight primer also contains a liquid light technology which infuses skin with a ray of light to illuminate the skin.

How I find it: I use this after moisturizer and before my face makeup as a primer. The texture of the primer is quite fluid, not really what I expected as a primer. On the back of the hand it makes a big different, but on the face and under foundation/powder/BB cream, the illumination seems to have disappeared… so I added some on top.

Overall: When I saw how fluid the primer is, right there, I knew the primer wouldn’t really smooth out flaws or pores which it really didn’t. I guess this is more of a liquid illuminator more than a primer. The light-reflecting properties is not strong enough to show under anything foundation/bb cream. I found that it works better if I mix it in with my BB cream/foundation, or using this under a light powder (when I want a natural look). I also use this as a liquid highlighter and apply them on the high points of my cheeks and the bridge of my nose and it works wonders! Overall, I think it was a good purchase for $19 as a liquid highlighter, I am glad that I got the Maybelline age rewind primer!

I also got these from the sale: Loreal True march Super-blendable powder, Loreal True Match super-blendable blush, Maybelline Age Rewind Skin Transformer Primer and Maybelline Mineal Power Concealer
