Where I got this: I got this at the makeup sale at the ASB showgrounds. I got this for $16.
What I got: This is a tube of skin primer by Maybelline in the Instant Age Rewind line. It claims to smooth out fine lines, pores and minor imperfections. It also claims to enhance skin’s radiance. The clear gel formula is in a squeeze tube with a twist cap.
How I find it: The clear gels goes on smoothly and the silicon gel glides on filling in the lines and pores. I use it after moisturiser and under foundation or BB cream.
Overall: Usually I have trouble with gel-base moisturisers and foundation/BB cream where they rub off into bits of eraser rub-offs. I have no trouble this this primer so far because of its silicon-based formula. As for the long-lasting effect as a primer, I don’t find it especially amazing, I think it works great as smoothing things out, but for foundation to last longer, it does an ok job. The benefit porefessional does a far better job as a primer to make foundation last longer.
I also got these from the sale: Loreal True march Super-blendable powder, Loreal True Match super-blendable blush, Maybelline Mineal Power Concealer and Loreal Magic Lumi Pure Light primer.
Bottom picture: primer on my right, no primer on the left. See the difference in lines?
